Mom Durre's Lake Vacation Coffee Cake

Ingredients:


4 Cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Shortening
2 Cups Sour Cream
4 Eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla

Grease and flour a large cake pan. Sift dry ingredients
together and mix with the rest of ingredients on low mixer setting. When mixed smooth, pour into floured cake pan.

In a separate small bowl mix:

1 Tbs. Cinnamon
2 Tbs. White Sugar
2 Tbs. Brown Sugar

Sprinkle evenly over cake batter. Use a table knife and stir in with swirls. Do not over stir swirls.

Bake at 340 degrees for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Coffee cake can be iced with a thin powdered sugar icing.
